Whirl


Continuing from my previous posts -  Peacock and My Soutache -  here is another experiment. 
I'm really enjoying playing with this style. I have loads of ideas for further development and shall continue along this path for awhile.

I put a picture of this on my Facebook and was overwhelmed by the response. It seems very popular.
Fantastic! 
I have been asked repeatedly lately for my tutorials. I am currently learning how to do the graphics for my patterns and I shall let people know when I have started selling tutorials.

Now I know the steps - I have started another in really nice colours.

    The Whirl is fine-very unique design,like most of Your Work,also nice 'live' colors-such really typically 'Australian' ones-I've never been to Australia-I guess it's too far away for travel,but I know a lot about the Australian style and I love it.I had worked for many years for the Australian Embassy,as the supervisor of art exhibitions organised there-in Poland-Warsaw,where I was born and had lived,before I found myself in Sweden.

      I have almost finished another Whirl in really nice colours and with a beaded rope. I will be posting on my blog soon.
      Australia isn't too far away and well worth visiting. I hope you can see my wonderful country one day.

    Dear Patrick: Your designs are absolutely beautiful! Simple, classical elegance, executed with devotion and skill. Your design sense is proof positive that beadwork doesn't have to be complicated to be a work of art.

    I would be interested in a post or two about which software you select for your tutorials, and why; and how you solve any problem(s) that may arise during your tutorial-writing adventures. In particular, I am wondering about how easy it is to compose/edit diagrams.
