Gelato

Here is the finished picture of the last post.

I spent yesterday morning trying to come up with a rope I liked.
I tried Chevron but wasn't happy with it. I tried an ECRAW and found this to be the best.
I then tried three colour combinations until I found one I liked.
In the end it took me four hours to decide the rope, decide the colour and make 12cm (5") of rope.
Pheeewww!!! I tell you bead weavers sure don't get paid for the pursuit of perfection.

As I was finishing the rope this morning the word "Gelato" kept playing in my mind.
Often the names I call my designs come this way. At first I thought it was the fun colours but then I realised there are a lot of "cone" shapes in the pendant.
So I went with "Gelato" as the name for my necklace for the combination of the gelato like colours
and cone shapes.

I had a friend ask me what flavours were in "Gelato"?
I quickly responded with Mediterranean Mint and Peach Pizazz!!!

So I hope I have tempted you with an ice cream treat and you like my "Gelato"

    1. Hello Sasha, yes I guess there aren't too many blue gelatos, but I think it is a good name for the design.
      Thanks for your comments
